About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and development of OpenGL and Vulkan graphics drivers for current and next-generation GPU architectures
- Participation in the full software development lifecycle: requirements analysis, design, implementation, and testing
- Collaboration with hardware engineering teams to enable and optimize Vulkan functionality
- Performance profiling and optimization of graphics drivers to maximize GPU efficiency
- Supporting integration efforts with customers and external partners during product bring-up phases
- Contribution to discussions and alignment around Vulkan API behavior and implementation details
- Ensuring high-quality, maintainable, and efficient driver code
Requirements
What you’ll need- Very good command of English (daily work in an international environment)
- Strong C programming skills with emphasis on low-level development
- Solid experience in GPU driver development or related graphics system software
- Deep understanding of modern graphics APIs (Vulkan and/or OpenGL)
- Good knowledge of computer architecture (CPU, cache hierarchy, MMU, memory systems)
- Strong experience working with Linux-based systems
- Excellent problem-solving skills and ability to work in complex technical environments
- Strong communication skills and team-oriented mindset
- Nice to have: Experience working according to structured coding guidelines
- Previous experience in Agile / Scrum development teams
- Understanding of vector mathematics and 3D graphics concepts
- Experience in performance tuning of graphics pipelines or drivers
