About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Investigate reports of illegal eviction, harassment and housing-related discrimination
Support vulnerable residents to understand and exercise their rights
Use available enforcement tools to investigate offending
Work as part of a specialist multidisciplinary team
Work with tenants, landlords, letting agents and partner organisations
Apply housing legislation to resolve disputes and prevent homelessness

Requirements

What you’ll need

Experience in housing enforcement, tenancy relations or a similar regulatory environment
Good understanding of housing legislation and practical application of enforcement powers
Knowledge of unlawful eviction, harassment and tenant protections
Ability to investigate complex cases
Ability to gather and assess evidence
Experience managing competing priorities
Ability to support legal proceedings where necessary
Strong communication and relationship-building skills
