About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop, validate, monitor, and evolve statistical, predictive, and Machine Learning models to support strategic business initiatives
Explore, analyze, and interpret large volumes of structured and unstructured data, turning them into actionable insights for decision-making
Conduct analytical studies and build models to understand customer behavior, identify patterns, and generate business opportunities
Design and implement scalable analytical solutions, ensuring result quality, efficiency, and reliability
Perform exploratory data analysis, hypothesis testing, and impact assessments to support strategic decisions
Identify opportunities to optimize processes using Data Science, Statistics, and Artificial Intelligence techniques
Work with data from various internal and external sources, ensuring integration, consistency, and data quality
Collaborate with Business, Data Engineering, and Technology teams to understand requirements and translate challenges into analytical solutions
Monitor the performance of models in production and propose continuous improvements to ensure accuracy and efficiency
Research, evaluate, and apply new methodologies, algorithms, and technologies related to Artificial Intelligence, Machine Learning, and Analytics to promote innovation and advance data solutions.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s degree in Computer Science, Statistics, Mathematics, Engineering, Information Systems, or a related field
Proven experience in Data Science applied to solving business problems
Strong command of the end-to-end analytics and Machine Learning model development lifecycle, from data exploration to deployment, monitoring, and production evolution
Advanced knowledge of Python and SQL for data manipulation, analysis, and processing
Experience with Data Science and Machine Learning libraries such as Pandas, NumPy, Scikit-learn, XGBoost, LightGBM, or similar
Experience handling, processing, and analyzing large volumes of structured and unstructured data
Experience with AWS data and Machine Learning ecosystem services
Solid knowledge of Statistics, Probability, hypothesis testing, statistical modeling, and model evaluation
Experience developing, validating, monitoring, and evolving predictive models and Machine Learning algorithms
Experience defining and tracking model performance metrics (KPIs and statistical metrics)
Knowledge of Git for code versioning
Experience with agile methodologies (Scrum or Kanban)
Nice-to-haves: Experience with MLOps and model deployment/monitoring tools
Knowledge of Deep Learning (TensorFlow, PyTorch, or Keras)
Experience with LLMs, Generative AI, or Natural Language Processing (NLP)
AWS or Machine Learning certifications
Knowledge of Docker, Kubernetes, and CI/CD pipelines.
