About the role

Create complex, intuitive visualizations to monitor metrics such as attrition (academic churn), student acquisition, profitability by course, and LMS engagement.
Develop efficient data models in Power BI, ensuring the integrity of relationships between tables (Facts and Dimensions) in a star schema.
Master DAX functions for comparative time analyses and advanced business metrics.
Implement and manage RLS (Row-Level Security) to ensure coordinators and directors only see data for their respective units/courses.
Connect Power BI to Google BigQuery with high performance, optimizing queries to avoid excessive processing costs.
Empower business users to consume data independently, ensuring a single "version of the truth".

Proven experience in data analysis.
Experience with Power BI Desktop, Power BI Service, Gateways and Dataflows.
Proficiency in DAX and Power Query (M), with strong skill in creating complex measures and handling data during extraction.
Experience connecting and optimizing Power BI with BigQuery in the Google Cloud environment.
Strong SQL skills, able to extract and validate data directly from the database to ensure dashboard data fidelity.
Data storytelling ability—translating numbers into visual narratives that support executive decision-making.
Knowledge of the education sector is a plus, with familiarity with KPIs such as average ticket (average revenue per student), re-enrollment rate, and academic delinquency.
