About the role
- Assessing, monitoring, and treating patients with various respiratory conditions
- Conducting Pulmonary Function Screenings and using spirometry equipment
- Providing patient education regarding pulmonary function tests and proper use of respiratory equipment
- Administering respiratory treatments
- Conducting diagnostic testing and patient monitoring
- Collaborating with healthcare teams and ensuring patient safety
Requirements
- Current state licensure as a Respiratory Therapist or Registered Respiratory Therapist (RRT)
- Valid Driver's License
- Certification by the National Board for Respiratory Care (NBRC) and/or Certified Pulmonary Function Technologist (CPFT) preferred
- AARC Office Spirometry Certificate
- Ability to pass all necessary health requirements for clinical employment, including drug screening and background check.
