About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver industrialised hardware meeting Power Station build requirements and subsequent handover to the Supplier Management Team
  • Project-manage supply-chain change to support customer, environmental, localisation, and overall power plant improvement requirements
  • Support development and timely execution of the Rolls-Royce SMR New Product Introduction strategy
  • Plan, track, and control interdependent workstreams
  • Proactively mitigate risks for assigned commodities
  • Report NPI status, including documentation, capital requirements, sourcing, and industrialisation status
  • Integrate multiple supplier and partner organisations around common, aligned project goals
  • Support delivery of major, large, and complex projects in a capital-intensive environment
  • Report directly to the relevant Category Senior Programme Manager

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver industrialised products and processes using established industry practices
  • Experience integrating multiple supplier and partner organisations into projects with common, aligned goals
  • Experience supporting major, large, and complex projects in a capital-intensive environment
  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6 is advantageous
  • APM accreditation or Prince2 qualification is advantageous
  • Ability to complete BPSS clearance
  • Satisfactory DBS check required
  • Satisfactory basic financial probity check required
  • Willingness to work hybrid from the Derby, Manchester, or Warrington offices and regularly engage with stakeholders and suppliers
