About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Project-manage New Part Introduction for a supply chain commodity within the Power Station
- Lead cross-functional teams to deliver industrialised hardware meeting Power Station build requirements and hand over to the Supplier Management Team
- Project-manage supply-chain change to support customer, environmental, localisation, and power-plant improvement needs
- Support development and timely execution of the Rolls-Royce SMR New Product Introduction strategy
- Plan, track, and control interdependent workstreams
- Proactively mitigate risks for assigned commodities
- Report NPI status, including documentation, capital requirements, sourcing, and industrialisation status
- Integrate supplier and partner organisations into projects with common and aligned goals
- Support delivery of major, complex projects in a capital-intensive environment
Requirements
What you’ll need- Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver industrialised products and processes using established industry practices
- Experience integrating multiple supplier and partner organisations into projects with common and aligned goals
- Experience supporting major or large, complex projects in a capital-intensive environment
- Working knowledge of Primavera P6 is advantageous
- APM accreditation or PRINCE2 qualification is advantageous
- Applicants must obtain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance
- Applicants must satisfactorily complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
- Applicants must satisfactorily complete a basic financial probity check
