About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Project-manage New Part Introduction for a supply chain commodity within the Power Station
  • Lead cross-functional teams to deliver industrialised hardware meeting Power Station build requirements and hand over to the Supplier Management Team
  • Project-manage supply-chain change to support customer, environmental, localisation, and power-plant improvement needs
  • Support development and timely execution of the Rolls-Royce SMR New Product Introduction strategy
  • Plan, track, and control interdependent workstreams
  • Proactively mitigate risks for assigned commodities
  • Report NPI status, including documentation, capital requirements, sourcing, and industrialisation status
  • Integrate supplier and partner organisations into projects with common and aligned goals
  • Support delivery of major, complex projects in a capital-intensive environment

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Experience leading cross-functional teams to deliver industrialised products and processes using established industry practices
  • Experience integrating multiple supplier and partner organisations into projects with common and aligned goals
  • Experience supporting major or large, complex projects in a capital-intensive environment
  • Working knowledge of Primavera P6 is advantageous
  • APM accreditation or PRINCE2 qualification is advantageous
  • Applicants must obtain Baseline Personnel Security Standard (BPSS) clearance
  • Applicants must satisfactorily complete a Disclosure and Barring Service (DBS) check
  • Applicants must satisfactorily complete a basic financial probity check
