About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Drafting and reviewing pleadings in tax litigation and supporting the preparation of legal opinions, under supervision;
Updating case management systems and reviewing reports;
Monitoring cases, analyzing court notices/publications, and supporting the definition of litigation strategies and merits;
Handling client requests and liaising with court clerks, experts, correspondents, and others;
Preparing orders/filings and participating in oral arguments, when applicable, under guidance.

Requirements

What you’ll need

1 to 3 years of experience in Tax Litigation;
Postgraduate degree completed or in progress in related fields – desirable;
Knowledge of federal, state, and municipal administrative tax proceedings;
Proficiency with Microsoft Office and case management systems;
Intermediate/advanced English – desirable.
