About the role

  • Design, implement, and maintain automated tests that validate critical business flows in backend systems
  • Support the mobile QA team with sustainable UI automation
  • Collaborate with Backend, Mobile, QA, and Product to translate business requirements into robust automated tests
  • Integrate tests into CI/CD pipelines to provide fast, reliable feedback
  • Define and track quality and performance metrics to monitor system health
  • Support manual exploratory and regression testing for backend and mobile apps
  • Communicate test strategies, coverage, and results clearly to developers, PMs, and other stakeholders

Requirements

  • 5+ years of experience in software testing, with a strong focus on test automation
  • Solid experience in API test automation (ideally Playwright + Typescript or similar)
  • Hands-on experience with mobile UI automation (ideally with Appium + Java or similar)
  • Strong understanding of testing methodologies
  • Proven ability to translate business and product requirements into automated test cases and scenarios
  • Strong focus on code quality, maintainability and test design
  • Experience working with CI/CD pipelines (e.g., GitLab CI, Bitbucket Pipelines, or similar)
  • Familiarity with REST/GraphQL APIs, JSON, and common debugging tools
  • Excellent communication skills in English and a strong team-player mindset
  • Strong focus on code quality, maintainability, and test design
