Senior Tax Manager
RMW ACCOUNTINGSenior Tax Manager at RMW Accounting responsible for reviewing tax returns for various business entities. Working closely with clients and collaborating with team members on tax projections and consulting.
About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Review U.S. and multi-state income tax returns for business entities, including C‐corporations, S-Corporations, partnerships, and fiduciary returns
- Review U.S. and state individual income and gift tax returns
- Prepare tax projections for individual and corporate clients
- Conduct tax research and reviews as needed
- Communicate with existing clients and colleagues regarding various tax matters
- Engage in consulting and special projects as requested by clients
- Demonstrated ability to adapt and apply new technologies in the workplace
- Proven ability to lead, mentor and contribute to team growth and development
Requirements
What you’ll need- 7+ years of relevant tax experience preferred
- CPA or EA preferred
- Ability to work well independently and with a team
- Advanced computer skills on Microsoft platforms
- Ultra Tax is highly preferred but not required
- Proficient with QuickBooks and/or other trial balance software is preferred
- Strong interpersonal skills
- Ability to meet deadlines while handling multiple client projects in a fast-paced environment
- Desire to expand current knowledge base
