About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Providing day-to-day HR advice and support to leaders across New Zealand
- Supporting recruitment, onboarding and offboarding activities
- Assisting with employee relations matters and ensuring fair, consistent HR processes
- Developing and improving HR policies, processes and documentation
- Reviewing HR metrics and reporting to identify trends and improvement opportunities
- Supporting organisational projects and business-as-usual HR initiatives
- Promoting a positive workplace culture aligned with our values
- Championing safe and healthy work practices across the organisation
Requirements
What you’ll need- At least 3 years' experience in an HR Advisor or similar generalist HR role
- A tertiary qualification in Human Resources or a related discipline (preferred)
- Strong knowledge of New Zealand employment relations and HR best practice
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
- Strong written and verbal communication skills
- Confidence working with HR systems and technology
- A collaborative, solutions-focused approach
- An appreciation for health, safety and wellbeing in the workplace
