About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Advise the APAC Managing Director, leadership team, and managers on people decisions.
  • Support managers and employees on people-related matters across APAC.
  • Oversee regional recruitment and partner with hiring managers to attract and secure talent.
  • Guide employee relations, performance management, and organisational change.
  • Translate legislation and policies into clear, practical advice.
  • Monitor legislative changes across the region.
  • Own and improve HR policies and procedures.
  • Drive talent mapping, succession planning, and performance appraisals.
  • Support compensation, benefits, and annual review processes across APAC.
  • Lead HR projects supporting long-term organisational goals.
  • Partner with global HR and corporate teams to localise global programs for APAC and provide regional insights.
  • Create employee engagement and retention initiatives.
  • Manage and develop the People & Systems Administrator.

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Proven experience in an HR Business Partner role, ideally across multiple APAC jurisdictions.
  • Strong working knowledge of employment legislation across Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore.
  • Confidence advising senior stakeholders while remaining hands-on with day-to-day HR.
  • Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
  • Proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
