About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Advise the APAC Managing Director, leadership team, and managers on people decisions.
- Support managers and employees on people-related matters across APAC.
- Oversee regional recruitment and partner with hiring managers to attract and secure talent.
- Guide employee relations, performance management, and organisational change.
- Translate legislation and policies into clear, practical advice.
- Monitor legislative changes across the region.
- Own and improve HR policies and procedures.
- Drive talent mapping, succession planning, and performance appraisals.
- Support compensation, benefits, and annual review processes across APAC.
- Lead HR projects supporting long-term organisational goals.
- Partner with global HR and corporate teams to localise global programs for APAC and provide regional insights.
- Create employee engagement and retention initiatives.
- Manage and develop the People & Systems Administrator.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Proven experience in an HR Business Partner role, ideally across multiple APAC jurisdictions.
- Strong working knowledge of employment legislation across Australia, New Zealand, and Singapore.
- Confidence advising senior stakeholders while remaining hands-on with day-to-day HR.
- Excellent relationship-building and communication skills.
- Proactive, solutions-focused approach to problem solving.
