About the role
- Provides forensic consulting services requiring civil engineering expertise for insurance, legal, and other clients
- Assesses and determines the cause and origin of structural failures and construction defects
- Provides oral and written reports of findings and expert testimony
- Manages multiple projects
- Conducts on-site investigations and prepares detailed reports
Requirements
- Civil Engineering degree or higher
- P.E. or 4th year EIT in the state of employment or ability to obtain it quickly
- 2-10+ years of experience
- Project management and/or field investigation preferred
- Must have strong verbal and written communication skills
- Must have strong organizational and time management skills
- Must have a high level of analytical skills
- Proficient in computer software applications including Microsoft Office
