About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Support the Marcomm team with ongoing projects aimed at increased efficiency;
Liaise with team members for review and feedback, adjust as needed;
Assist with administrative projects in the Marcomm team;
Ensure RHF brand guidelines are followed in all materials;
Prioritize and implement accessible design best practices;
Provide design and writing assistance to support the overall brand with a focus on blogs, newsletters, impact stories, promotional materials, and other writing projects as needed;
Support administrative tasks such as video editing and saving digital materials;
Provide support to our Accessible Outdoor Program (AOP) on-site at the Steveston Marina; meet & greet guests and help provide exceptional guest experience;
Handle logistics and catering for AOP programing onboard our accessible vessel;
Perform other related duties in keeping with the purpose and accountabilities of the position.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Must be between 15 and 30 years of age at the start of employment
Be a Canadian citizen, permanent resident, or person to whom refugee protection has been conferred under the Immigration and Refugee Protection Act
Be legally entitled to work in Canada in accordance with BC legislation and regulations.
