About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Act as a trusted advisor for our insurance customers, primarily in the German market
- Analyze actuarial and business requirements related to life insurance products and processes
- Support customers during implementation and optimization projects
- Collaborate with Actuaries, Business Analysts, Product Managers and Software Consultants to design effective solutions
- Participate in customer workshops, requirement analysis and solution design
- Translate regulatory and actuarial requirements into functional specifications
- Support testing, validation and customer acceptance activities
- Build long-term relationships with customers and provide professional consulting throughout project lifecycles
Requirements
What you’ll need- Several years of professional experience in the insurance industry, ideally in an actuarial or actuarial consulting role
- Strong understanding of life insurance products, actuarial calculations and insurance processes
- Experience working directly with customers and stakeholders
- Excellent analytical and problem-solving skills
- Ability to explain complex actuarial topics to both technical and non-technical audiences
- Independent, structured and customer-oriented working style
- Willingness to travel occasionally to customer sites when required
- Languages German: Professional proficiency (required)
- Slovenian: Native or fluent proficiency (required)
- English: Good working proficiency
