About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and develop scalable applications using Java 8 / Java EE and modern software engineering best practices
- Build and integrate REST and SOAP web services
- Design robust software architectures with a strong focus on REST APIs and microservice-based solutions
- Develop and deploy microservices on Docker and Kubernetes platforms, using frameworks such as Quarkus, Knative, or OpenWhisk
- Develop responsive Single Page Applications (SPA) using Angular
- Write efficient SQL queries and work confidently with relational databases
- Use Git as part of your daily development workflow and work with IDEs such as IntelliJ IDEA or Eclipse
- Apply software quality best practices, including Test-Driven Development (TDD)
- Contribute to cloud-native applications, with exposure to AWS being a plus
- Collaborate effectively with cross-functional teams in English and actively contribute to an Agile environment using Scrum or Kanban methodologies
Requirements
What you’ll need- An Engineering degree or a master’s degree in computer science, Software Engineering, or a related field
- A minimum of 5 years of experience in a similar role
- A relevant experience working in a multinational environment, collaborating effectively with international and cross-functional teams
- Experience within a software vendor or software product company is considered as a strong asset
- Professional proficiency in English, both written and spoken.
