About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Management of license management for the DERTOUR Group, making a significant contribution to the ongoing development of Group IT
Taking a key role at the interface between product teams, administrators and IT procurement to ensure transparency, compliance and cost-effectiveness in software licensing
Ensuring license compliance by guaranteeing the proper use of all deployed software licenses, identifying opportunities for savings and optimization, and taking into account the requirements and needs of the product teams
Acting as the central point of contact for group-wide licensing matters by providing support on licensing questions both inside and outside the organization
Coordinating and conducting license audits, including active participation in audit processes
Responsibility for vendor management for software manufacturers through the administration and maintenance of software licenses
Managing collaboration with external service providers and the REWE Group and ensuring smooth communication and implementation

Requirements

What you’ll need

Degree in a relevant field such as Business Informatics, Computer Science, Business Administration (BWL) or Law, or alternatively a comparable completed vocational education
Several years of professional experience in a comparable role
Understanding of software licensing
Basic technical knowledge of IT infrastructures, including virtualization and cloud technologies
Familiarity with Software Asset Management (SAM) systems, e.g. Flexera
Strong communication and teamwork skills
Structured and analytical working style as well as a high level of reliability
Willingness and enthusiasm to learn new areas and actively help shape change
Independent working style and enjoyment of collaborating in a team
