About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Handle a variety of corporate transactions, particularly technology services deals
  • Contribute to commercial contract negotiations and corporate governance matters
  • Contract Drafting, Review & Negotiation - Technology Services, Insurance Solutions, and Vendor
  • Own and manage all aspects of technology contracts including drafting, redlining, responding to redlines, and negotiating MSAs, SOWs, SaaS contracts, SLAs, and licensing agreements
  • Evaluate and resolve issues/questions, including evaluating which business leaders/stakeholders are impacted
  • Assist Associate General Counsel and General Counsel in developing new and non-standard agreements
  • Manage multiple agreement iterations and make final language determinations for non-standard agreements
  • Identify and assess potential legal risks associated with all assignments and projects
  • Provide recommendations on risk mitigation
  • Stay abreast of relevant laws and regulations and perform legal research as assigned

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • JD from an accredited law school and membership in good standing of any United States state bar
  • 5-6 years of experience in law (firm, corporate, or both) required
  • Knowledge and understanding of and corporate law
  • Ability to understand laws and draft contracts related to delivery of services and products
  • Demonstrated ability to simultaneously handle high-level and strategic aspects of multiple legal matters at different stages of progression, from inception to conclusion
  • Demonstrated competencies in Microsoft Office Suite, legal researching platforms (LexisNexis) required
  • Experience with AI and contract management software a plus
  • Strong analytical, communication, drafting, and negotiation skills.
  • Demonstrated organizational and project management skills.
  • Strong work ethic with a "can do" attitude.
  • Self-starter, quick study.
  • Experience interfacing with a wide variety of key stakeholders; a strong collaborator and team oriented.
