About the role
- Support the creation and presentation of internal and external financial reporting for senior leadership, private equity stakeholders, and the Board of Directors
- Lead monthly and quarterly variance analysis across business segments and global SG&A, including forecast updates and collaboration on global consolidated reporting
- Provide detailed KPI reporting and analysis across revenue, P&L, and staffing to guide strategic business decisions
- Oversee the development of five-year financial projections, annual operating plans (AOP), and rolling forecasts for business units and corporate functions
- Manage high-priority FP&A initiatives, offering problem-solving, implementation support, and project management
- Lead finance data initiatives and leverage financial systems/tools to drive process efficiency and better decision-making
- Act as a trusted advisor to global business and functional leaders by analyzing performance and supporting financial decisions around growth, staffing, compensation, and capital planning
- Provide financial guidance for new business ventures, deal structuring, and revenue optimization strategies
- Manage FP&A integration activities for acquisitions, ensuring financial alignment, training on planning platforms, and smooth transition post-integration
- Build and lead a high-performing FP&A team, providing coaching, feedback, and career development to team members
- Identify opportunities for process enhancement within the finance function and lead initiatives to increase accuracy, speed, and insight quality
- Promote a collaborative, respectful, and solution-oriented team environment focused on shared goals and productivity
Requirements
- Bachelor's degree in Accounting, Finance, Business Administration, or related field
- 10-15 years' experience in a corporate accounting or finance role
- 5-7 years leading a team and managing the work associated within the department
- Availability to attend early morning and late night calls with India/China at least 2-3 days per week
- Certified Public Accountant (CPA) preferred
- Experience working within a multi-national, global business; Comfortable working within a multi-currency environment
- Previous experience working with private/capital equity organizations
- Previous insurance industry experience is a plus
- High degree of proficiency with MS Office Suite - Excel and PowerPoint are a must

- Strong communication and presentation skills with the ability to tailor communication according to your audience
- Must reside within the United States to be eligible for consideration
