About the role
- Lead the end-to-end management of complex, cross-functional projects that support annual business goals and transformation initiatives
- Ensure that project deliverables are executed effectively and contribute to improved service delivery and competitive positioning
- Establish baseline measurements for success and oversee ongoing progress against targets
- Partner with senior business leaders (VP/SVP) to shape program objectives, ensure executive alignment, and drive strategic decision-making
- Provide thought leadership in program scoping, business case development, and prioritization of strategic initiatives
- Coordinate cross-functional, multi-geo project teams
- Manage vendors and third-party integrations as necessary
- Monitor and report on enterprise-level KPIs and strategic success metrics tied to executive goals and corporate performance targets
- Champion and enhance enterprise PMO frameworks, governance models, and delivery standards
- Lead regular executive reviews, project health checks, and strategic initiative reporting
- Maintain the PMO function's core management platform and oversee the development and ongoing refinement of executive dashboards, scorecards, and performance analytics
- Identify and drive continuous improvement opportunities across the project portfolio
- Maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders
- Serve as a senior member of the PMO, representing the office in executive-level forums and steering committees
Requirements
- Bachelor's Degree in Business Administration or related field
- 10+ years' experience in project management and/or consulting
- 3+ years' experience leading enterprise-wide, global projects
- Project Management Professional (PMP) certification (or willingness to obtain PMP certification)
- Advanced skills in Microsoft Office Suite, particularly Excel and PowerPoint for executive reporting
- Proficiency in project management tools (Microsoft Project, Smartsheet, Jira, or similar)
- Experience with data visualization and dashboard tools (Tableaus, Power BI, or similar)
- Understanding of insurance industry trends and processes
- Experience with BPO service delivery models
- Familiarity with process improvement methodologies (Lean Six Sigma preferred)
- Expertise in KPI development, measurement, and analysis to support strategic decision-making
- Knowledge of business intelligence tools and data analytics platforms for strategic metric monitoring.
