About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Produce comprehensive quarterly and annual risk analytics and assess alignment with company risk appetite
  • Report risk analytics results to senior management
  • Collaborate with Investment, Finance, and Actuarial teams to refine risk modeling methodologies, calculations, and stress calibrations
  • Review stress testing results against actual market and insurance risk events
  • Enhance risk reporting capabilities at company and local entity levels across multiple accounting bases
  • Perform stress and scenario testing across capital, liquidity, and value measures
  • Ensure stress testing models use robust actuarial and statistical methodologies and are fit for purpose
  • Help senior management understand risk metrics, sensitivities, and implications for business decisions
  • Communicate complex risk modeling concepts and results clearly to non-technical stakeholders

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s degree in Actuarial Science, Mathematics, Finance, or another related field
  • Associate of the Society of Actuaries or similar designation
  • 5+ years of experience
  • Ability to perform hands-on technical work while thinking strategically and improving processes
  • Strong communication and collaboration skills
  • Understanding of actuarial principles, risk modeling techniques, financial theory, and regulatory requirements
  • Ability to work independently, manage multiple priorities, and thrive in a fast-paced, dynamic organization
  • Experience with US and Bermuda insurance regulations is an asset
