About the role

  • Assume full operational responsibility for the Apolda plant
  • Directly manage the next leadership layer (department heads) and, more broadly, team leaders
  • Drive the strategic and operational development of the site with a focus on productivity and efficiency
  • Ensure processes, decisions and leadership behavior are aligned with TEXAID's values
  • Strengthen routines, establish reliable standards and develop a shared leadership mindset
  • Support the development and advancement of managers
  • Work closely with the CEO and other central corporate functions
  • Opportunity for future progression toward Head of Export & Sales

Requirements

  • Degree (e.g., Industrial Engineering, Production Engineering, Logistics, Business Administration with a production focus, or similar) or equivalent qualification
  • At least 10 years' experience in a production environment, including several years in a leadership role with direct managerial responsibility
  • Excellent German skills and very good English skills — confident written and spoken communication in both languages
  • Proven experience leading sites or large teams through restructuring or transformation processes
  • Combination of strategic thinking and strong operational execution
  • Strong communicator, capable of handling conflict and leading with clarity, consistency and conviction
  • Interest in long-term development within the company and initial experience or interest in (international) sales/export
