Requirements

What you’ll need

NYS-licensed and currently registered as a registered professional nurse
Graduate of an approved school of nursing
Two (2) years as a supervising community health nurse OR two (2) years of home care nursing experience plus a master's degree in nursing, public health, business administration, or another health-related field
Ability to read and interpret safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals
Ability to speak effectively before groups of customers or agency employees
Ability to read, analyze, and interpret general business correspondence
Ability to effectively present information and respond to questions from managers, patients, customers, and the general public
Ability to apply common sense understanding to carry out written, oral, or diagram instructions
Ability to deal with problems involving several variables in standardized situations
Ability to solve practical problems and deal with various concrete variables in situations with limited standardization
Ability to interpret written, oral, diagram, or schedule instructions
