About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Develop and own the architecture and implementation of scalable ETL pipelines based on Microsoft Fabric
Ensure efficient, automated integration of heterogeneous data sources such as MySQL databases and APIs
Evolve the data warehouse architecture and adapt data models and structures to new requirements
Develop robust processes for data modeling, data ingestion, and data production
Ensure data quality, security, and reliability
Ensure integrity, availability, and confidentiality across the entire pipeline
Actively monitor trends and technological developments in data engineering

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
Minimum 5 years of professional experience
Deep understanding of designing and implementing modern ETL pipelines
Experience with automation tools such as Azure Logic Apps, n8n, or Make
Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric or Microsoft Data Factory, Apache Spark, and notebooks
Strong expertise in MySQL
Hands-on experience with various databases and data warehousing solutions
Willingness to further develop skills in Power BI
Fluent German
Excellent English
