About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Develop and own the architecture and implementation of scalable ETL pipelines based on Microsoft Fabric
  • Ensure efficient, automated integration of heterogeneous data sources such as MySQL databases and APIs
  • Evolve the data warehouse architecture and adapt data models and structures to new requirements
  • Develop robust processes for data modeling, data ingestion, and data production
  • Ensure data quality, security, and reliability
  • Ensure integrity, availability, and confidentiality across the entire pipeline
  • Actively monitor trends and technological developments in data engineering

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology, or a related field
  • Minimum 5 years of professional experience
  • Deep understanding of designing and implementing modern ETL pipelines
  • Experience with automation tools such as Azure Logic Apps, n8n, or Make
  • Strong knowledge of Microsoft Fabric or Microsoft Data Factory, Apache Spark, and notebooks
  • Strong expertise in MySQL
  • Hands-on experience with various databases and data warehousing solutions
  • Willingness to further develop skills in Power BI
  • Fluent German
  • Excellent English
