About the role

  • You are responsible for designing and implementing scalable ETL pipelines using Microsoft Fabric, ensuring efficient data integration from various sources, including MySQL databases, APIs and others.
  • Designing and maintaining the data warehouse schema to support the company's evolving requirements is one of your core responsibilities.
  • You develop processes for data modeling, extraction and production.
  • You ensure the integrity, availability and confidentiality of data across the entire pipeline.
  • You keep up to date with industry trends and advances in data engineering and recommend integrating new technologies or methods to gain a competitive advantage.

Requirements

  • A completed Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Computer Science, Information Technology or a comparable field provides the foundation of your technical expertise.
  • With at least 5 years of professional experience, you bring a deep understanding of developing and implementing modern ETL pipelines.
  • Solid knowledge of Microsoft Fabric or Microsoft Data Factory, Apache Spark and notebooks characterizes your technical skill set.
  • You have strong expertise in MySQL and are experienced with various databases and data warehousing solutions.
  • A proven track record in batch processing and working with structured data (ideally in the real estate sector) rounds off your profile.
  • Enthusiasm for AI and automation, as well as the motivation to further develop your Power BI skills, are also part of your profile.
  • Fluent German and very good English skills enable you to communicate confidently with all stakeholders.
