About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Analyze mission requirements for payload and propulsion modes across all mission phases
  • Define the power subsystem architecture based on mission analysis
  • Specify requirements for the power subsystem, PCDU, battery unit, solar arrays, and SADA
  • Interact with battery, solar array, PCDU, and SADA providers and other subsystem teams
  • Produce documentation based on architecture, analysis, and unit specifications
  • Develop subsystem AIT according to the architecture
  • Define and accept EGSE
  • Work end-to-end from design and development to AIT on the SiltaSat project

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Minimum 10 years in power systems engineering or related fields within the GEO space industry, preferably on large satellites
  • Professional experience across the full lifecycle of power systems subsystems
  • Ability to analyze data, derive conclusions, and manage, review, and approve design documentation and changes
  • Comfortable working with external vendors, consortium partners, and as part of a team
  • Fluent written and spoken English
  • Security clearance may be required for certain positions, in accordance with applicable law and company policies
