About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Analyze mission requirements for payload and propulsion modes across all mission phases
- Define the power subsystem architecture based on mission analysis
- Specify requirements for the power subsystem, PCDU, battery unit, solar arrays, and SADA
- Interact with battery, solar array, PCDU, and SADA providers and other subsystem teams
- Produce documentation based on architecture, analysis, and unit specifications
- Develop subsystem AIT according to the architecture
- Define and accept EGSE
- Work end-to-end from design and development to AIT on the SiltaSat project
Requirements
What you’ll need- Minimum 10 years in power systems engineering or related fields within the GEO space industry, preferably on large satellites
- Professional experience across the full lifecycle of power systems subsystems
- Ability to analyze data, derive conclusions, and manage, review, and approve design documentation and changes
- Comfortable working with external vendors, consortium partners, and as part of a team
- Fluent written and spoken English
- Security clearance may be required for certain positions, in accordance with applicable law and company policies
