About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Partner with Principal Doctor to maintain quality veterinary care
- Maximize hospital efficiency, productivity, and profitability
- Oversee and train employees in delivering exceptional client service
- Manage Human Resource activities including onboarding and development
- Conduct regular development discussions with para staff
- Create and maintain schedules following guidelines
- Ensure compliance with policies and procedures
Requirements
What you’ll need- High School Diploma or equivalent
- Associate degree or higher in a related discipline a plus
- WellHaven hospital experience and/or previous experience as a supervisor/manager in veterinary medicine or health-related industry
- Veterinary technician certification, licensure, and experience preferred
- Certified Veterinary Practice Manager or Veterinary Management Institute certification a plus
