About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Be the primary technical reference for the development squad, guiding the team in solving complex problems and ensuring the adoption of best practices;
Analyze business and technical requirements to design and document high-level (HLD) and low-level (LLD) solution architectures for Analytics and AI platforms;
Define and implement data governance processes and development standards, including creating templates and accelerators to increase efficiency and quality;
Design and optimize solutions in heterogeneous, mission-critical environments with large volumes of data (Big Data) and real-time processing;
Implement and manage CI/CD pipelines focused on Analytics and AI, automating provisioning, testing, and deployment;
Research, evaluate, and recommend new technologies, tools, and frameworks to keep the organization at the forefront of data innovation.

Requirements

What you’ll need

Strong knowledge of architecture and governance for BI, Big Data, and AI solutions, particularly on Microsoft Azure.
Experience with Hadoop (HDFS, Spark, Hive).
Expertise in multidimensional modeling (Star Schema, Snowflake) and relational modeling with a focus on performance and security.
Proficiency in Python for automation and data manipulation.
Experience defining and implementing data ingestion and real-time replication processes (CDC – Change Data Capture).
Certifications: Microsoft Certified: Azure Solutions Architect Expert; AWS Certified Solutions Architect – Professional; Google Cloud Professional Cloud Architect; TOGAF® Certified or similar.
Familiarity with cloud governance tools (Azure Purview, GCP DataPlex, AWS Glue) is a plus.
Experience working with agile methodologies (Scrum, Kanban).
Proven track record in defining technology roadmaps and enterprise-level data strategies.
Bachelor's degree in Computer Science, Engineering, Information Systems, or related fields. Postgraduate degree, Master's, or MBA in Software Architecture, Big Data, AI, or Data Science is desirable.
