About the role

  • Main responsibility is to ensure the quality of our products and to further develop the team
  • Responsible for leading the quality assurance team, including precision metrology and incoming goods inspection
  • Hands-on participation in production-related activities
  • Establishing and developing test procedures and quality standards
  • Active participation in cross-functional meetings to optimize process stability
  • Strategic development of the areas with a view to future brand development potential

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering or qualification as a Meister / Techniker (master craftsman or state-certified technician)
  • Professional experience in special machine construction with a focus on machining (metal cutting) is desirable
  • Several years of leadership experience in quality assurance
  • Strong communication skills across all hierarchical levels
  • Strong problem-solving skills and a hands-on mentality
  • Willingness to be actively involved in manufacturing
  • SAP knowledge and an affinity for IT
  • Good command of English (C1)
