About the role

  • You assume technical leadership of externally and internally funded study and development projects.
  • You serve as the central technical contact for external project partners, funding agencies, customers, research institutions and suppliers.
  • You conduct technical coordination and negotiations with project partners and customers.
  • You coordinate and lead interdisciplinary development teams (mechanical, hydraulic, electronic and software disciplines).
  • You ensure the technical quality of deliverables and verify compliance with specified requirements, study objectives and funding conditions.
  • You report regularly on project progress to senior management.

Requirements

  • Degree in Mechanical Engineering, Electrical Engineering, Mechatronics or a related field
  • Strong technical expertise in drive technology (mechanics, electronics, and ideally control systems/software)
  • Practical experience leading development or research/study projects
  • Excellent communication and presentation skills, including with management and customers
  • Very good English skills, particularly for technical coordination and documentation
