About the role
- Responsibility for designing, planning and conducting audits with a focus on processes and their supporting IT systems
- Independently perform technical and process-related audits; analyze and evaluate business processes and their system representations
- Conduct process and system analyses; assess process continuity and system performance
- Review efficiency, data quality, interfaces and system integration across the entire value chain
- Identify process and IT risks and develop practical recommendations for improvement
- Prepare structured audit reports and management presentations
- Support internal digitization projects by providing process-related, system-level and IT security-oriented advice
- Advise management on the further development of the internal control system
Requirements
- Degree in Business Informatics, Digital Business, Business Administration with IT focus, or Computer Science with a business focus
- Several years of professional experience in process management, IT & system analysis, or digitization of business processes, ideally in an international environment
- Solid understanding of business operations and integrated system landscapes (e.g., SAP, Syteline, MES, PLM, CRM)
- Experience with process analysis methods (e.g., BPMN or Value Stream Mapping)
- Knowledge of ERP systems (especially SAP) as well as interface and data flow analysis
- Basic understanding of IT security topics, particularly data protection, system hardening and disaster recovery
- Excellent analytical skills and structured, data-driven thinking
- Experience in internal audits or comparable activities at an auditing firm
- Excellent German and English language skills, both written and spoken
- Team spirit, strong communication skills, initiative and the ability to clearly convey complex process and system relationships
- Passion for digital process optimization, automation and IT security improvements
- Experience with BI/reporting tools is an advantage
