About the role

  • Participate in the preparation of budgets and forecasts and document them
  • Analyze variances: Actual/Budget/Forecast
  • Build and maintain associated reporting in close collaboration with operational teams
  • Raise alerts and define action plans where necessary
  • Analyze significant trends to support management in steering the business
  • Propose improvements for economic management of the activity
  • Contribute to month-end/period-close activities with the objective of providing full back-up for the current Financial Controller in this area
  • Help optimize the close process (improve reliability, speed and automation)
  • Monitor investment budgets and the internal and Group validation process
  • Track and break down industrial cost components
  • Contribute to cost optimization and monitoring efforts
  • Verify analytical postings and ensure the reliability of production data
  • Contribute to writing procedures
  • Build and update financial and operational dashboards in Group tools (My Report, Power BI)
  • Contribute to financial reporting for management
  • Design, maintain and populate dashboards as shared analysis tools with operational departments
  • Actively contribute to the development of internal control

Requirements

  • Degree equivalent to Bac +4 with a specialization in Management Control / Finance (DCG/DECF)
  • English: B2 professional level (technical vocabulary, negotiation capability)
  • German language skills are highly desirable
  • Excellent Excel skills (pivot tables, formulas, simple macros)
  • Proficient in: Advanced Excel, ERP systems, Power BI
  • Familiarity with specific tools (e.g., My Report, Navision, Business Central)
  • Knowledge of financial analysis, industrial costing and budget management
  • Experience in an industrial/manufacturing environment
