About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Perform the hemodialysis treatment procedure delivering safe, efficient care of the highest quality
  • Provide specialized registered nursing care in accordance with state law
  • Utilize assessment skills, technical skills, collaborative skills, documentation skills, and leadership qualities
  • Maintain strong relationships, regular communication, and visibility with clients
  • Complete company clinical training program for inexperienced Dialysis RNs
  • Understand and record patient responses to renal failure and its treatments
  • Set correct priorities for patient care based on current knowledge
  • Develop, implement, and evaluate appropriate care plans for patients
  • Communicate significant information to the appropriate team member clearly
  • Administer medications when ordered
  • Obtain all laboratory specimens as ordered and perform routine tests
  • Ensure confidentiality of patient, employee, and/or company information

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent
  • Current RN License for Pennsylvania & current CPR certification (or within three months of hire)
  • Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
  • Strong technical/computer proficiency with laptops, tablets, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, etc.
