About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Perform the hemodialysis treatment procedure delivering safe, efficient care of the highest quality
Provide specialized registered nursing care in accordance with state law
Utilize assessment skills, technical skills, collaborative skills, documentation skills, and leadership qualities daily
Maintain strong relationships, regular communication, and visibility with clients
Participate in teamwork and coordinate care with the healthcare team
Perform thorough patient assessments as evidenced by documentation and feedback to the nurse in charge
Recognize changes in patients on dialysis and make necessary adjustments in their therapy
Develop, implement, and evaluate appropriate care plans for patients
Document in a clear, concise, and thorough manner

Requirements

What you’ll need

Graduation from an accredited nursing school or equivalent
Current RN License for Tennessee & current CPR certification (or within three months of hire)
Ability to read, write, speak, understand, and communicate in English
One year of Hemodialysis RN experience is required (two to three years of experience preferred)
Experience must be within the past two years
Strong technical/computer proficiency with laptops, tablets, Outlook, Excel, PowerPoint, Word, SharePoint, etc.
