Full Time Dialysis Home Therapies Registered Nurse, RN

About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- This is a new position for a Home Hemodialysis Registered Nurse (RN) to support our growth into a new, innovative home dialysis program in the Chicago metropolitan area.
- The Home Hemodialysis Registered Nurse (RN ) will be responsible for delivering high-quality patient-centered care by educating, training, and supporting patients who perform dialysis in their homes.
- This role requires a strong clinical background, excellent communication skills, and the ability to build trusting relationships with patients and their caregivers.
- As a critical part of our care team, the Home Hemodialysis RN will empower patients to manage their treatment safely and effectively while ensuring adherence to clinical and regulatory standards.
- All duties and responsibilities are expected to be performed in accordance with company policy, procedures, standards of nursing practice, state and federal regulations and as directed by the appropriate chain of command.
- The role will serve the general Chicago area and be based near Joliet.
- Role requires daily local travel in the Chicago metropolitan area (approx. 60-mile radius) to perform patient training and assessments in their home environment.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Graduate of an accredited School of Nursing.
- Current appropriate state licensure.
- Minimum of 12 months current experience in hemodialysis, including home hemodialysis.
- Current or successful completion of CPR BLS Certification.
- Must meet the practice requirements in the state in which he or she is employed.
- Must meet the state or facility health mandates, if applicable.
- Strong knowledge of dialysis operating requirements.
- Strong clinical assessment and critical thinking skills.
- Excellent communication, teaching, and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work independently and manage multiple patients in a remote setting.
- Proficiency with electronic medical records (EMRs) and Microsoft Office Suite.
