About the role

  • You always conduct the examinations in tandem with a language examiner.
  • You prepare exams both organizationally and substantively, document results according to defined standards, and thereby ensure the quality of the procedure.
  • Together with the language examiner, you assess whether candidates handle nursing-specific communication situations (e.g., patient conversations, handovers) professionally and linguistically appropriately.
  • You support international nursing professionals with practice-oriented training and case examples to prepare them effectively for the professional language examination.

Requirements

  • Completed training as a qualified nursing professional (general nursing, geriatric nursing, or equivalent).
  • Excellent German language skills (minimum C2 level).
  • Objectivity, empathy, and enjoyment in working with people from diverse cultural backgrounds.
  • Structured working method: you keep an overview even in examination situations and reliably document according to prescribed standards.
