About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Design and build scalable Salesforce solutions using Apex, Lightning Web Components (LWC), Flow, and APIs
- Develop and maintain integrations with external systems using REST/SOAP, middleware, and event-driven patterns
- Own data model design, security configuration, and performance optimization
- Troubleshoot and resolve complex platform issues
- Identify opportunities to improve system efficiency, reliability, and automation through continuous optimization
- Contribute to architectural decisions in collaboration with senior team members
- Translate business requirements into clear technical approaches and actionable delivery plans
- Drive decisions that balance immediate priorities with system stability, scalability, and technical debt reduction
- Own initiatives end to end, proactively managing timelines, risks, and dependencies without reliance on a dedicated project manager
- Bring structure and clarity to how work is planned, tracked, and communicated across the team
- Serve as a trusted technical advisor, influencing decisions through expertise and sound judgment
- Mentor junior developers and contribute to development standards and best practices
- Continuously expand technical and leadership capabilities to improve team delivery outcomes.
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor’s degree in engineering, computer science, technology, or a related field, or equivalent professional experience
- 5–10+ years of Salesforce development experience
- Advanced proficiency with Apex, LWC, Salesforce declarative tools, and platform services
- Experience building integrations using REST/SOAP APIs and event-driven approaches
- Demonstrated ability to independently organize, plan, and deliver technical work from concept through production
- Solid understanding of Salesforce data model, security model, and governor limits
- Proven experience in Agile environments, including sprint planning, backlog refinement, estimation, and release cycles (e.g., Jira)
- Ability to break down and communicate complex concepts to both technical and non-technical stakeholders
- Salesforce certifications strongly preferred (Platform Developer I/II, App Builder, or similar)
- Experience with Snowflake, CloverDX, or similar data/integration platforms
- Exposure to AI-enabled solutions or automation initiatives.
