About the role
- Assess, develop, and implement speech therapy treatment plans with measurable goals
- Engage patients with fun, age-appropriate games and activities to keep them motivated
- Coordinate with team members to ensure quality care
Requirements
- Certification in Occupational Therapy and valid state license to practice in Texas
- Basic Physical Requirements include:
- - Must be able to maintain various postures such as kneeling, sitting, standing, squatting for extended periods of time.
- - Must be able to regularly walk and run for extended periods of time.
- - Must be able to transition from sitting to standing and vice versa independently.
- - Must be able to utilize quick body movements as may be required by the behavior intervention plan.
- - Must be able to lift a minimum of 25 pounds.
- - Must be able to transfer/position/transport patients and adaptive equipment.
- - Must have the visual ability to read and understand written communication via computer, electronic devices, and paper means.
- - Must have the manual dexterity to perform electronic device functions such as data collection.
