About the role
- Conduct insurance verifications, ensuring verifications are run in a timely manner
- Communicate one-on-one with patients, providing accurate and current information regarding their coverage
- Run prescription history reports through a prescription monitoring platform
- Enter client personal health information and other clinical data
- Perform other tasks assigned by the Lead Care Navigator
- Contract for 40 hours per week on tasks assigned according to the job description
Requirements
- Contracting 40 hours a week availability
- Experience conducting insurance verifications and knowledge of health insurance
- Ability to run prescription history/reports through prescription monitoring platforms (PMP)
- Experience entering client personal health information and other clinical data
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Tech and data-savvy; able to learn unfamiliar technologies and organize and analyze data
- Compassionate and empathetic to patients needing mental health care
- Mission-driven and dedicated to increasing access to mental health and substance use treatment
