About the role
- Take responsibility and independently manage key tasks
- Strategically develop the finance sections together with a team of Finance Content Managers and our Finance Content Lead, including creating and improving databases and comparison tools
- Revise and review complex guides on financial topics in the areas of current accounts, brokers, investment accounts (depots) & savings accounts
- Create new content and further develop existing content on financial topics
- Creatively produce and update recurring content that enhances existing and new material and keeps it up to date at all times
- Share responsibility for the revenue development and optimization of your area
- Produce and review timely news and deals related to financial products
- Continually improve the quality of content on our website as well as the briefs for our social media team
- Plan and execute projects to advance financial topics in the areas of current accounts, brokers, investment accounts (depots) & savings accounts
- Support and train other employees by sharing knowledge and strategic thinking
- Perform analyses and evaluations using Google Analytics to drive area development
Requirements
- Specific prior knowledge in finance—either through work in a financial editorial team, operating your own blog or social media channel, experience at a financial institution, or a thematically relevant degree
- Comprehensive overview of the market for financial products in Germany, especially regarding current accounts, savings accounts, and investment accounts/brokers
- Completed vocational training or university degree as a basis for the strategic development of projects
- High resilience and ability to perform under stress to react quickly to short-term trends
- Willingness to work in a shift system (predominantly within regular working hours) and occasionally in a rotating schedule on weekends and public holidays
- Excellent German language skills and at least good English language skills
- Ideally editorial experience or basic knowledge of content management systems such as WordPress
- Ideally a strong interest in social media platforms and search trends within the finance sector
