About the role

Key responsibilities & impact

Receive reinsurance applications and create and set up within Reflex and Sylvie systems
Monitor the triage queue in Reflex
Identify and escalate follow-up requests to the underwriter
Monitor underwriter queues in Reflex against the underwriting calendar
Assign mail received to the appropriate pending applications
Effectively and proactively communicate with internal and external clients
Provide underwriter support and assist with handling requests
Make requests to/follow up with retro-cessionaires
Assist with projects and reporting as required
Complete any other necessary tasks from the Director

Requirements

What you’ll need

High School Diploma completed
Bilingual French/English (oral and written) is considered an asset
Knowledge of MS Word, Excel, Outlook
Knowledge of the life-insurance or life-reinsurance industry an asset
