Key responsibilities & impact

Own the day-to-day operational execution of investment data management and quality function
Oversee end-to-end SMF creation and maintenance operations
Govern asset taxonomy and classification standards
Own implementation and monitoring of data quality rules and exception thresholds
Oversee position reconciliation operations
Monitor and report on data quality exception trends
Maintain a robust control framework across data management workflows
Serve as primary operational point of contact for Investment Accounting, Portfolio Management, Risk, Compliance, and Technology
Lead and develop Directors, Senior Analysts, Analysts, and Associates
Drive process improvement and automation initiatives

Requirements

What you’ll need

Bachelor's degree required; Finance, Accounting, Economics, Information Systems, or related field AND 10+ years of progressive investment operations or data management experience
OR Master’s, MBA, ASA, or FSA AND 5+ years of progressive investment operations or data management experience
Demonstrated expertise managing investment SMF structures, data quality rule frameworks, and position reconciliation operations across multi-asset class portfolios
5+ years of people leadership experience, including managing Directors or senior data management specialists
Proven track record partnering with technology teams on data architecture decisions, integration standards, and quality framework implementation
Preferred CFA, CPA, or advanced degree
