About the role
- Lead the design, execution, and oversight of global compliance, ethics, fraud, and privacy programs
- Partner with the Chief Legal Officer to align compliance strategy with legal risk management
- Establish and govern a global compliance framework ensuring consistent application across all regions
- Oversee investigations involving conduct breaches, sanctions/AML matters, conflicts of interest, and financial crime
- Provide compliance guidance for complex transactions, including reinsurance, pension risk transfer, asset-intensive structures, and M&A
- Prepare and present compliance reports to the Board and senior leadership
Requirements
- Bachelor’s degree in Law, Business, Finance, Risk, or related field
- Preferred: JD, LLM, MBA, or professional credentials (AIRC, CCP, CCEP, CAMS, FRM, CIA)
- 15+ years senior leadership experience in compliance, legal, regulatory affairs, or risk management
- 10+ years managing teams in matrixed global organizations
- Demonstrated success designing and operating global compliance programs
- Experience supporting large, complex transactions
