About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Develops the global brand strategy based on insights and drives execution of global marketing strategy and initiatives for the product
- Prepare and drive global and local market launches
- Develop and implement global commercial/marketing activities such as core branded materials, advisory boards, congress activities, customer engagement plans, segmentation and targeting
- Develop communication plans and omnichannel engagement campaigns across the marketing mix ensuring timely delivery via KPIs
- Benchmark against competitors and propose corrective actions where appropriate
- Ensure close relationships with affiliates and strong understanding of local market dynamics
- Develop KPIs to measure impact of global marketing activities
- Track functional execution of KPIs to deliver the global brand strategy
- Ensure activities are aligned with procurement process and appropriate budget is allocated
- Develop deep understanding of the patient journey and identify leverage points and potential pain points
- Support the development of the market research plan and act as the marketing point for identified market research projects
- Ensure strong cross-functional engagement and collaboration with all members of the Global cross-functional team
Requirements
What you’ll need- Master's degree, ideally in a scientific discipline
- 12+ years of progressive consulting and industry/relevant professional experience
- Pharmaceutical/biotech related experience
- Fully understands biotech development and commercialization processes
- Strong analytic skills
- Learning agility
- Excellent verbal and written communication skills
- Comfortable in presenting and gaining support from C-suite executives
- Experience in developing compelling business cases, marketing tactics, portfolio assessments and strategic recommendations
- Strong project and process management skills (including spreadsheet and ppt skills)
- Prior U.S. or global commercial strategy development experience
- Solid knowledge of U.S. and global (top 10) biotech based commercial strategies, launch planning and reimbursement systems
