Report to the Regional Director, Field Market Access & Reimbursement and act as a front-line member of the Field Access & Reimbursement team
Support physician offices in obtaining appropriate reimbursement and support company/divisional reimbursement strategy
Work cross-functionally with field teams (Regional Directors, Oncology Medical Specialists, Key Account & Payer teams) as Reimbursement/Payer SME
Provide reimbursement support services to educate physician offices on payer policies, billing & coding, and Regeneron Patient & Practice services
Establish relationships within targeted healthcare provider offices to resolve prior authorization and reimbursement issues per company policies and SOPs
Assist providers in identifying claims, coding issues and guide claims appeal processes
Monitor reimbursement requirements and coverage policy changes from government and managed care organizations
Build relationships within payer segments, identify payer trends, and analyze data to inform account and sales force education
Submit individual development goals, territory business plans, monthly activity reports and expense reports; complete assigned projects timely
Provide sales support, distribute reimbursement materials, track and report territory trends, and assist hotline staff with coding, coverage, and reimbursement resolutions
Requirements
Bachelor’s degree
At least five years of field reimbursement experience
Buy and Bill market experience
Oncology experience preferred
Knowledge of reimbursement requirements and coverage policy changes from federal and state governments and managed care organizations
Ability to assist with prior authorizations, billing, coding, and claims appeals
Territory planning and time management skills
Ability to analyze data to provide account and sales force education
Experience establishing relationships with healthcare provider offices and payers
Ability to submit development goals, territory business plans, monthly activity reports, and expense reports
