Calculate, validate and report accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual government pricing for Medicaid, Medicare Part B, PHS/340B, and FSS (including TriCare and IFF)
Submit and monitor State Price Transparency regulations
Research and communicate causes of variances when comparing current period to prior periods
Perform necessary processes to ensure compliant submissions including G/L reconciliations, Class of Trade review, and PHS/340B eligibility review
Review calculations with Senior Management and obtain approval signoff and execute SOPs before communicating prices to government agencies or internally
Maintain and update SOPs and reasonable assumptions quarterly for Government Programs/Pricing
Monitor policies, procedures and processes supporting Government Pricing submissions to ensure compliance
Understand and estimate impact of pricing and policy changes regarding government pricing
Perform pricing research and analysis on special projects as assigned
Review and interpret commercial contract language as pertaining to BP, ASP and FSS Tracking Customers
Investigate Government pricing trends and cross-channel impact and provide Government price inputs to the Gross to Net (GTN) team
Monitor for Tracking customer violations, Bona Fide Service Fee treatments and Customer COT assignment
Participate on cross-functional teams as subject matter expert and serve as liaison with Commercial Leadership, Pricing, Trade, Brand and Accounting/Finance
Apply Fair Market Value methodology when determining bona fide service fees paid to Wholesaler, PBM and GPOs
Requirements
7+ years prior experience in Government Pricing OR a related field such as finance, accounting, Medicare/Medicaid
Understanding of current government pricing rules, regulations, and calculations
Ability to calculate, validate and report accurate monthly, quarterly, and annual government pricing
Ability to identify potential problems, conduct analysis and offer potential solutions
Highly analytical with ability to analyze, interpret, and convey data and its commercial impact
Ability to decipher calculations to determine key causes of variances
Strong communication skills and ability to communicate effectively to all levels of the organization
Process oriented with proven ability to manage competing priorities and meet deadlines
Demonstrated strong attention to detail, accountability, ownership of results, flexibility and adaptability
Familiarity with Fair Market Value methodology and bonafide service fee treatments
Ability to review and understand commercial contract language pertaining to Best Price (BP), Average Sales Price (ASP) and FSS Tracking Customers
