About the role
- Provide advice and counseling on a wide range of privacy and related issues
- Strategically assess potential privacy risks on new projects
- Monitor emerging regulations and support compliance
- Develop internal policies, procedures, and guidance documents
- Collaborate with Government Affairs on legislation initiatives
- Assist in drafting and negotiating data processing agreements
Requirements
- JD and licensed to practice law in New York
- 5-7 years of legal experience at a law firm and/or in-house
- at least 3 years of experience in privacy
- Ad Tech, Biotechnology, pharmaceutical or related life science experience is strongly preferred
