About the role
- Define testing strategies and set quality standards for QA across projects.
- Lead the planning and execution of all QA activities.
- Work hands-on with test management tools and oversee both manual and automated testing efforts.
- Analyze results to drive product quality.
- Mentor QA engineers and collaborate with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams in a fast-paced Agile environment.
Requirements
- 4–5+ years of experience in QA (manual or manual + automation).
- Strong understanding of different test types and test runs, including Regression, Stress, Load, and Smoke Testing.
- Proven experience in planning, organizing, and leading QA activities across multiple projects.
- Ability to define QA processes, testing strategies, and quality standards for the team.
- Hands-on experience with test management tools (e.g., Qase, TestRail, Testmo, or similar).
- Solid knowledge of SDLC, especially within Agile/Scrum environments.
- Experience with both manual and automated testing approaches.
- Ability to analyze test results, identify root causes, and drive defect resolution.
- Strong understanding of performance, security, and usability testing principles.
- Experience using bug tracking systems such as Jira.
- Leadership skills with the ability to mentor, guide, and review QA engineers.
- Strong communication skills for effective collaboration with Product, Engineering, and Delivery teams.
- Ability to estimate QA efforts, manage priorities, and deliver under deadlines.
- English — upper-intermediate or higher.
