About the role
Key responsibilities & impact- Lead all technical activities related to supervision, control systems (SCADA/EMS), telecom connectivity and the integration of IoT solutions for photovoltaic plants and energy storage systems
- Design SCADA/EMS architectures: technical selections, protocols, interfaces, and sizing
- Integrate field equipment (inverters, BESS, meters, protection devices) and configure HMI interfaces, alarms and historical data
- Oversee testing, trials and commissioning of SCADA, EMS and IoT systems
- Manage telecom connectivity for sites (technologies, bandwidth, network security, availability)
- Ensure cybersecurity and compliance of systems (IEC 62443, ISO 27001)
- Ensure compliance with international standards and communication protocols
- Harmonize technical methods and standards across local entities
- Coordinate technical deliverables from teams and subsidiaries, and manage interfaces with suppliers and EPC contractors
- Supervise technical teams and contractors, and provide reporting and coordination with project managers
Requirements
What you’ll need- Bachelor's degree (Bac+3) minimum in industrial systems engineering, automation or electrical engineering
- Over 7 years' experience, including proven experience in the renewable energy sector
- Strong proficiency in designing system architectures
- Experience integrating field equipment and configuring HMI interfaces
- Expertise in site connectivity (fiber, 4G/5G, radio)
- Solid knowledge of IoT solutions for monitoring and data analytics
- Strong command of industrial cybersecurity (IEC 62443, ISO 27001), standards (IEC, NF, NEC, VDE) and communication protocols (Modbus, IEC 61850, OPC UA, MQTT)
- Proficiency in English
