About the role

Key responsibilities & impact
  • Lead the implementation of patient service, scheduling and treasury processes
  • Map current patient service, scheduling and billing processes
  • Define and validate service workflows and documentation
  • Validate service rules and workflows in the system (health plan/insured and private/self-pay)
  • Conduct functional tests related to service, scheduling and billing
  • Ensure alignment between defined processes and system behavior
  • Serve as the technical point of reference during go-live and stabilization
  • Monitor area KPIs such as claim denials/adjustments (glosas), turnaround times, productivity, compliance and authorization time
  • Analyze post-implementation results
  • Propose process and/or system improvements based on KPIs
  • Prepare and present results, KPIs and status reports to management and stakeholders with executive-level communication

Requirements

What you’ll need
  • Bachelor's degree (Administration or Health-related field)
  • Solid experience with hospital patient service processes
  • Knowledge of private patient billing
  • Knowledge of health plan (insurance) billing documentation
  • Experience in system implementations preferred
  • Knowledge of the Tasy system preferred
